Please send payment by June 29 to guarantee your place in the tournament! Address is below.

The Dale B. Wade Memorial Golf Tournament will take place on Friday, July 31st at 8:00 a.m. at one of the top courses in the Twin Cities area. Players will arrive at The Wilds Golf Club via bus. The bus will load at 6:15 a.m. and departure from the residence hall will be at 6:30 a.m. sharp. Please take care to be on time as this is a shotgun start and everyone will start at the same time. There will be a desk in the lobby for player check-in and a continental breakfast will be provided. The tournament will be a scramble format. The rules for a scramble are as follows:

  • Each team will play their best shot

  • Each person will hit each shot from the same spot

  • Each player must contribute 1 drive

  • Please be aware of the pace -- approximately 14 minutes per hole

  • Final scorecards to be turned in at the clubhouse when play is complete

We will do everything we can to try and honor all team requests; however, some participating vendors do wish to mingle with the residents. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter!
Information concerning the golf course can be found on their website at www.golfthewilds.com.
For residents who choose to drive, the golf course is located at 3151 Wilds Ridge, Prior Lake, MN  55372.

The cost of golf this year is $50.00 per resident, and $75 for vendors. Make checks payable to: The University of Minnesota. Please mail checks by June 25th, 2009 to the address listed below. We would appreciate it if you could mail all of the checks in one envelope. For those who will be staying in the dorms, you can check-in between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, July 30th.
